Flu vaccine from last year will NOT protect you this year.
For CHILDREN age 18 and under, the cost of the flu shot or the flu mist is $12 (while supplies last).
We can bill all of the following insurances for the cost of the vaccine: Medicare Part B, Medicaid, Anthem, Humana, Aetna, Choicecare, Cigna, Medical Mutual, United Healthcare, The Health Plan, Caresource, Molina, and UMWA. If you have a copay, you will be billed at a later time.
If you do not have any of these coverages, we also accept cash, check, and credit card (Mastercard, Visa) to pay for the vaccine.
For ADULTS age 64 and under, the cost of the flu shot vaccine is $25 and the nasal spray vaccine is $30. For ADULTS age 65 and over, the cost of the more effective "high dose" flu shot vaccine is $45.
The Miami County Health District and the CDC recommend that all adults age 65 and older get the more effective "high dose" flu shot. You can read more about this new vaccine by clicking here.
Pneumonia vaccine (for those who qualify) will be available at all clinics as well.
People age 2 to 49 can receive the nasal spray vaccine UNLESS they are pregnant, have received another live vaccine in the last 30 days, have asthma, or have another chronic medical condition.
Local doctors, OBGYNs, and some pharmacies have the flu vaccine available as well, but generally for a higher fee.
